I register my account with autel as a USA location but I am using this system in kuwait.I am wodering how autel maxisys pro updates work? Does updates goes by region or all updates goes by the system product? -

Hello.Actually, the region doesn't matter and you can select USA as a location though you are in Kuwait.All the software updates for Maxisys Pro is tied with the serial number of this tool.Maxisys Pro has one-year free update period and the update period counts from the registration date of the tool.Before the update for Maxisys Pro expires, it is highly recommended to use another SD card to download all the software updates as a backup in case that the original SD card is broken someday. -

Dear ede65What sd card are you talking about,my Autel Maxisys Pro and my mini did not come with a sd card,I see a mini sd card slot however nothing is in there.Do I need ti buy one?.Even the maual for both say this is optional.Thanks ede65 -

ede65I have plugged in 3 mini sd cards and eveyone says after plugging in that they are damaged sd on screen.On the last mini sd pushed in it corrupted and wiped out all my diagnostic information.Then autel had to log onto my 908Pro and I had to load all updates from 1st update.How can i now back upp my pro if everytime I put in a mini sd card it corruptd my pro?.Thanks -
